Romans Commercial were instructed by St James Developments to dispose of the Piazza at Kennet Island. Kennet Island comprises a large, mixed use development of approximately 1,110 houses to the south of Reading town centre. The Piazza forms the central feature of the development and once complete will incorporate retail and community facilities.

Occupation of the Piazza will take place from September 2008 and occupiers will include a convenience store, hair dressers, coffee shop, estate agent and dentist along with an ATM and community facilities.
